Child Care for Medical Appointments

Children’s Waiting Room enables junior enlisted service members and their families to make health and well-being a priority. This unique program provides child care services at our Fort Campbell location, enabling parents to attend scheduled medical appointments at the installation clinic without the stress of finding child care outside of the hospital.

Accessing this Program

  • Available to active duty service members and their dependents with ID
  • Provides up to two hours of supervision for children while parents attend medical appointments
  • Care is provided for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years
  • Appointments are recommended and should be made as far in advance as possible; walk-ins are accepted based on space availability
  • Closed on hospital training days, weekends, and federal holidays
  • Appointments can be made by calling (270) 798-3077.

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm

You must register your child(ren) for the Children’s Waiting Room and provide a copy of their current immunization record.
